SUBDORDINATING CONJUNCTIONS

Click here to see more SUBORDINATING COMJUNCTIONS.

SECOND, Copy these sentences in your notebook and combine the short sentences by using the subordinating conjunction provided to create a complex sentence. (keep in mind the comma)
Look at the example and do the same with the other sentences:

  • The sun rises in the morning. A rooster crows very early. (Before).
  •  Before the sun rises in the morning, a rooster crows very early. (you need a comma because  the subbordinating conjuntion  BEFORE is at the beginning)
  • A rooster crows very early before the sun rises in the morning. (you don´t need a comma because the word BEFORE is in the middle).
  1. I have to stay for tutoring. I failed the quiz in math. Because
